It's very straight-forward I assure you!, (don't look at me like that! it IS straight-forward honest!), you could pick it up easily. At some point I will upload a How-to on the basics ...,of different aspects of knotting and macrame and you'll see what I mean...

...And, before I write anything else: Thank you so much! for the it gives me a thrill each time it happens..it's always nice to receive encouragement especially from ones peer group who actually know about crafts and creating...

well, I don't know anything about this but it looks soooo hard. I know how to make macrame bracelets... but just the easy ones you make as a child It is fun! I would actually like to learn how to make more macrame, but it scares me lol! it looks difficult!

OK...I'll help. Don't be scared though! :

1:It IS fun!
2:It DOES take practice...
3:It DOES pay off handsomely as you've seen in my work.
4: If you do this with a reasonable amount of dedication, (at your own speed, no rushing or worrying required), then you will slap a serious smile on your own face for your acheivements no matter how "simple" or "complex" the piece, and, give pleasure to others who see your work...
5: I'll put some stuff up, then you can practice a bit and show me what you've done. I will then give you some pointers or advice, if necessary, and then suggest the next stage... and move on from there?
6: We can start with what you know about macrame bracelets.. pop a piece of macrame work, (if you have one...if you haven't just make a little strip of knotting about 6 inches by 2 inches..),in your scrapbook or as a sub naturally if you think its good! and I'll look at it to see your style, knotting, tensioning etc...
7: Let me know which knots you know...

How does all that sound? I will probably upload the first tutorial in about a week...

Well, thanks! I don't know if I remember very much of what I used to know about macrame but I will give it a try and upload it as soon as I manage to make something decent . I used to make lots of bracelets when I was a child, but it's been like 12 years so...

It's not about making something "decent" just whatever you do is fine.... It's about seeing where you are at with knotting so I don't waste your time Telling you "A B & C" when you aready know "A" or "B" or "C" about knotting.... About the 12 years thing: We can start from the very beginning if you prefer, in which case just tell me and you won't need to upload anything before we start....!

Well, I spent some time giving it a try today, but I have to say I give up I thought I remembered more or less how to do it, but when I started trying I just couldn't.

Anyway, thanks for the help I would really appreciate it! knots have always been a mistery for me See you!
Oh, and please don't hate me if I don't answer messages next week I will be out of the city from monday to friday.
